    LUMINAR GROUP HOLDINGS PLC

    Announcement to the London Stock Exchange

    This notification is made in accordance with DTR 3.1.4(1)(a). 

    On 5 August 2008, Nicholas Beighton acquired 26,051 shares on the vesting of his Restricted Share Award. The shares were acquired for
nil cost. 
    Mr Beighton sold 11,293 of the shares at 2.650p to cover income tax and employee's and employers' national insurance contributions for
which he was liable on the vesting of the Restricted Share Award (the "Tax Liability") and retained 14,758 shares. 
    The Company was informed of this transaction on 6 August 2008. 
    The shares were transferred to Mr Beighton from the Luminar plc Employee Trust. The shares sold to satisfy the Tax Liability were sold
on the London Stock Exchange.
