PURCHASE OF OWN SHARES & TOTAL VOTING RIGHTS

Luminar plc announces that it has today purchased for cancellation 70,000
ordinary shares of 25p each at an average price of 706.2922p per share. The
highest price paid was 709p and the lowest price paid was 702p

Following today's purchase the capital of the Company consists of 68,492,136
ordinary shares with voting rights. The Company does not hold any shares in
Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 68,492,136.
