FISHER FORWARD PLC JOINT VENTURE


Lambert Howarth Group p.l.c. (the "Company") announces the
acquisition of the outstanding fifty per cent. holding in
the Company's joint venture, Fisher Forward Plc, for a
consideration of #1.1m in cash.

This acquisition follows on from the acquisition of Fast
Forward Holdings Limited ("Fast Forward") completed in
November.  Fisher Forward Plc was a joint venture
established by Fast Forward in April 1997 in conjunction
with the management of Nancy Fisher Plc principally to
supply handbags to Marks and Spencer p.l.c.
