Further  to  the Company's announcement dated 27  March  1998,
disclosed  below are further details regarding the appointment
of  Anthony  Malcolm  David  Bird  as  proposed  non-executive
director with effect from 6 April 1998.

   compulsory  liquidation, creditors  voluntary  liquidation,
   administration,    company   or    partnership    voluntary
   arrangement  with  creditors  generally  or  any  class  of
   creditors,  during the period of 12 months  preceding  such
   events.

(vi)    He has not in relation to any asset or any partnership
   of  which he has been a partner suffered any appointment of
   a  receiver (where in the case of a partnership  he  was  a
   partner  at  that time or within 12 months  preceding  such
   event).

(vii)   He has not been the subject of any public criticism by
   any  statutory  or  regulatory body  (including  recognised
   professional bodies) or ever been disqualified by  a  court
   from  acting as a director of a company or from  acting  in
   the management or conduct of the affairs of any company.
