PUBLICATION OF SHAREHOLDER CIRCULAR

Leisure & Media VCT PLC (the "Company") has today posted a circular (the 
"Circular") to shareholders convening an extraordinary general meeting on 23 
April 2009 at which resolutions will be put to shareholders to wind up the 
Company voluntarily. 
As discussed in the Company's 2008 Annual Report, the board of directors of the 
Company (the "Board") has been considering the most appropriate way to wind up 
the affairs of the Company since new investments are no longer being made. The 
Board is of the view that the costs of maintaining the Company in its present 
form are significant in relation to the net asset value of the Company's 
portfolio and the Board has concluded that these costs will be approximately 
GBP80,000 lower each year if the Company is placed into a members' voluntary 
winding up. Accordingly, the Board is convening an extraordinary general meeting 
to seek shareholder approval for the winding up of the Company. 
As described in the Circular, it is intended that the Company's Ordinary Shares 
be suspended from listing on the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and 
from trading on the London Stock Exchange at 7.30 a.m. on 23 April 2009 and that 
listing of those shares on the Official List be cancelled no later than 8.00 
a.m. on 24 April 2009. 
Copies of the Circular have been submitted to the Financial Services Authority 
(the "FSA"), and will shortly be available for inspection at the FSA's Document 
Viewing Facility which is situated at:
