 Pro forma Interim Results (unaudited) for the six months ended 30th June 2004

Libertas Capital Group plc ("Libertas Capital" or "the Group"), an FSA regulated
financial services group announces unaudited, pro forma interim results for the
six months ended 30th June 2004.

Libertas Capital was incorporated on 19th May 2004. Prior to that date, Libertas
Capital Corporate Finance traded profitably for the period to 31st December 2003
and since that date.

The business of Libertas Capital has continued to develop satisfactorily across
all the existing activity areas namely Corporate Finance, Research and
Securities Distribution during the first six months to 30th June 2004.

     -        Turnover #2.86m

     -        Operating profit #1.25m

     -        no dividend has been declared for the period

The above figures include the unaudited trading results of all current group
companies prior to their acquisition by the Group and accordingly represent the
pro forma consolidated results.

On 14th July 2004, Libertas successfully completed a placing to raise #2.2
million gross and an IPO on AIM. This will enable the Group to pursue its
strategy of growth in its chosen areas of operation as detailed in the
prospectus dated 13th July 2004.
