Termination of Avis Energy Contract 
 
Libertas Capital (AIM: LBR), the financial services group, notes that on 24th 
December 2008 a strategic alliance and convertible loan note issue was announced 
with the Avis Energy group of companies ("Avis Energy").  Avis Energy has failed 
to provide any funds and accordingly this agreement has been cancelled. The 
Company is in advanced talks with another investor regarding a new financing 
package.
