    Appointment of Director and Organisational Change

    Libertas Capital Group plc (AIM: LBR - "Libertas" or the "Company"), the international financial services group, announces that Tim
Murray, who was promoted last month to Group Chief Executive Officer, has joined its board of directors.

    Timothy Paul Murray, aged 45, was promoted last month to Group Chief Executive Officer and was appointed to the board today, having
joined the Company in October 2007 as CEO of its London business following the acquisition of Macadam Corporate Finance Limited. Prior to
that he was founder and managing partner of Macadam, a specialist corporate finance advisory firm, from 2003 to 2007; he has held a number
of investment banking roles, including Global Head of Media and Telecommunications Investment Banking at Schroders, and senior corporate
finance roles at Barclays de Zoete Wedd and Soci? G?rale. He has over twenty years advisory and investment banking experience. He holds an
MA in Engineering from Cambridge University and an MBA from INSEAD. He is also a director of Libertas Capital Limited, Macadam Corporate
Finance Limited, Hoggett Limited and Murray Winter & Partners Limited, and the designated member of Macadam LLP; within the past five years
he has served but no longer serves as a director of Commstec Limited, and of Uvendia Limited, which was wound up in 2007 through a creditors' voluntary liquidation. He also holds 2 million shares
in Libertas.

    Libertas confirms that there are no other matters requiring disclosure in relation to Rule 17 and Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules. 

    Group Managing Director, Jakob Kinde, has returned to his role as Executive Chairman and Roger Barlow has become non-executive Director
and Deputy Chairman.

    In addition the organisation has been restructured along functional lines of Corporate Finance and Securities/Research throughout the
group, which has enabled considerable cost reduction and a 25% headcount reduction.

    Jakob Kinde said: "I took the helm as Group Managing Director to steer the group through a time of considerable uncertainty; however, I
believe that the business is now coming back onto a stable course, and I would like to be able to spend more time on direction setting, fund
raising and deal making for Libertas Capital, as well as on our clients and transactions. Tim and I have worked together very closely for
the past year: I know that he has the necessary skills, experience and dedication to make a great success of this new role."
