    LIBERTAS CAPITAL GROUP PLC ("the Company")
    ISSUE OF NEW SHARES

    Libertas Capital Group plc ("Libertas Capital"), (AIM: LBR), the international financial services firm, announces that 1,150,000 shares
have been issued to Mr Philip Richards for cash as part of the refinancing of the Company announced on 31st July 2008.  This brings Mr
Richard's holding in the Company to 8.36%.

    The total number of ordinary shares of the Company now in issue amounts to 57,397,005 of which 383,949 shares are held in Treasury. Thus
the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights is 57,013,056 ordinary shares.

    Application for the admission of the 1,150,000 new ordinary shares for trading on AIM has been submitted and dealings are expected to
commence on 27 August 2008.
