APPOINTMENT OF SENIOR ADVISOR TO LIBERTAS CAPITAL


Libertas Capital Group plc (AIM: LBR), the financial services firm, is pleased
to announce that Mark Wellesley-Wood has joined the Company as a Senior Adviser
to Libertas Capital. He brings with him extensive experience in the metals and
mining sector, gained as a senior executive in the mining industry and during a
long career as a leading securities analyst and investment banker.

Mr Wellesley-Wood is a founder and Managing Director of WCS Limited a consulting
company serving the mining and metals industries.  Formerly he has been CEO of
Redwing Mining, a company with gold mining operations in Africa; Chairman and
CEO of DRDG Gold Limited, a NASDAQ, JSE, LSE, ASX and Euronext listed gold
mining company with operations in South Africa; and a Managing Director of
Dresdner Kleinwort Benson Global Corporate Finance Division, where he was Global
Sector Head, Metals and, Mining, having spent twenty years with the group in a
career spanning equity research, sales and corporate finance.

He has been a director of Mikula Mining, a Swedish private iron ore mining
company, since December 2007.  From 2004 to 2006 he was a director of Emperor
Mines Ltd, an ASX listed gold mining company.  From 2001 to 2004, he was
Non-Executive Chairman of Unwins Wine Group plc and a Non-Executive Director of
Oxus Gold plc, an AIM quoted gold mining company.  From 1999 to 2000 he was a
Non-Executive Director of Western Areas Limited, a JSE listed gold mining
company.

He received his B.Sc. in Mining Engineering from the Royal School of Mines,
Imperial College London and also holds a postgraduate diploma in Business
Studies from London Metropolitan University.  He is a Chartered Engineer, a
Fellow of the Securities Institute, a Member of the Institute of Materials and
an Associate of the Institute of Investment Management and Research.
