                  Appointment of New Head of Corporate Finance

Libertas Capital Group plc ("Libertas Capital"), the independent financial
services firm, announces that Jonathan Flory will join as Head of Corporate
Finance with immediate effect. Mr Flory will be based in the Libertas London
office and will be responsible for Libertas Capital's Corporate Finance team
globally.

Mr Flory, aged 43, joins from Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (and its
predecessor Kleinwort Benson) ("DrKW") where he spent approximately 22 years
working principally in London with periods overseas in New York and Paris.

Since 2002, Mr Flory was Global Head of the Business Services and Transport
group of DrKW. Between 1998 and 2002 he was based in Paris as Managing Director
and Head of Corporate Finance. Mr Flory joined Kleinwort Benson in 1982. Based
primarily in London and with two years in New York between 1987 and 1989, he
worked on a wide variety of corporate finance transactions across a range of
industrial sectors.  Mr Flory graduated from Cambridge University with a Master
of Arts in 1982, majoring in History.

Henry Okereke, Chief Executive Officer of Libertas Capital, said: "We are very

practitioner with broad international experience, has joined as Head of
Corporate Finance. Jonathan will play a key role in developing further our
corporate finance business and will manage our existing teams based in London
