Completion of cash subscription

KBC, a leading consultant to the energy industry, announces that, further to the announcement of 25 September 2012, the Company has successfully completed the cash subscription to raise GBP1.35m and the 2.7m new ordinary shares of 2.5p each ("Ordinary Shares") issued pursuant to that subscription were admitted to trading on AIM at 8.00 a.m. on 1 October 2012.

In accordance with the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, the Company advises that its issued share capital currently comprises 58,800,550 Ordinary Shares. The voting rights of all of these Ordinary Shares are identical with each Ordinary Share carrying the right to one vote. The Company holds no Ordinary Shares in Treasury.

The above figures may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, KBC Advanced Technologies plc under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
