KBC Advanced Technologies plc received notification on 2 January 2008 that
following the purchase of 316,621 ordinary shares of the Company on 4 September
2007, Strathclyde Pension Fund has an interest of approximately 3.9% of the
issued share capital of the Company. The shares are registered as Nortrust
Nominees and held to order for Strathclyde Pension Fund as managed by Gartmore
Investment Management.
