"KBC Advanced Technologies plc confirms that it has today despatched a circular
to shareholders convening an annual general meeting ("AGM") to seek, inter alia,
the adoption of a long term incentive plan and approval for the cancellation
of its entire issued ordinary share capital from the Official List of the UK
Listing Authority in connection with its proposed transfer to AIM, a market
operated by the London Stock Exchange plc.

The AGM is to be held at KBC House, 42-50 Hersham Road,Walton on Thames, 
Surrey KT12 1RZ  at 3.00 p.m. on 25 May 2006."
