notification on 25 November 2005 that AXA S.A. holds 6,377,500 ordinary shares 
in KBC, representing 12.6% of the issued share capital of the Company. These 
shares are represented by a  beneficial interest of 95,000 shares and a non-
beneficial interest of 6,282,500 shares.
