EXERCISE OF OPTIONS / DIRECTOR SHAREHOLDING


The directors of Toledo Mining Corporation plc (AIM : TMC) advise that on 9
October 2007 the Company has allotted 350,000 new ordinary shares of 5p each
(and received #525,000 in subscription monies) following the exercise of options
by a director, Mr George Bujtor, at a price of 150p per share.


The Company further advises that following this exercise, Mr Bujtor holds an
interest over 387,037 ordinary shares in the Company (representing 1.3 per cent.
of the total voting rights of the Company).


The Company has made application for admission to trading on AIM of the new
350,000 ordinary shares and trading in the new ordinary shares is expected to
commence on 16 October 2007.


In accordance with the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, the Company
would like to notify the market of the following:


-   As a result of the allotment of the new ordinary shares, the Company's
    share capital consists of 29,538,333 ordinary shares with voting
    rights. The Company holds no shares in treasury.


-   Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 29,538,333.



The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the
calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their
interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FSA's
Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
