                 Recommended Cash Offers for
              Inspirations plc ("Inspirations")
                              
          Acceptance Levels and Extension of Offers
                              
At  3.00pm  on  15  August  1997, valid  acceptances  of  the
Ordinary  Offer  had been received in respect  of  25,597,744
Ordinary Shares representing approximately 80.4 per cent.  of
the  issued Ordinary Share capital of Inspirations and  valid
acceptances  of  the Convertible Offer had been  received  in
respect   of   12,222,684  Convertible  Shares   representing
approximately 96.5 per cent. of the issued Convertible  Share
capital of Inspirations.
 
Prior  to the announcement of the Offers on 24 July 1997  CLG
(UK)  did not hold any Ordinary Shares or Convertible Shares.
Since  the announcement on 24 July 1997 CLG (UK) has acquired
2,429,413 Ordinary Shares representing approximately 7.6  per
cent.  of  the issued Ordinary Share capital of Inspirations.
By 3.00pm on 15 August 1997, therefore, CLG (UK) owned or had
received  acceptances  in respect of a  total  of  28,027,157
Ordinary Shares representing approximately 88.0 per cent.  of
the issued Ordinary Share capital of Inspirations.
 
The  Convertible Offer has become and the Ordinary Offer  has
been  declared unconditional as to acceptances.   The  Offers
will remain open for acceptance until further notice.
