The Company was informed today that Sean Dowling, Executive Chairman of
Hartstone, has today purchased 500,000 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the
Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 5.5 pence per share. Following this
purchase he is interested in a total of 6,500,534 Ordinary Shares,
representing approximately 3.75 per cent. of the Company's issued ordinary
share capital following the cancellation of the 15,500,000 Ordinary Shares
repurchased by the Company as announced on 10 October 2000.
