Hansen Transmissions International NV announces appointment of Mr. Martin Nègre as second Nominee Director

Following disclosure is made pursuant to paragraph 9.6.13 of the UK Listing
Rules.
At the Special Shareholders' Meeting held on 24 June 2010, the resolution to
appoint Martin Nègre as the second (non-executive) Nominee Director of Hansen
Transmissions International NV was passed.
Martin Nègre currently serves as the Director and Chairman of several Ecofin
investment funds, including Ecofin Water and Power Opportunities plc, a London
Stock Exchange listed investment trust. Martin is also a Director of
Northumbrian Water Group plc, a listed UK water company and Promethean plc, a
listed investment company. Previously he held various senior management
positions at Suez Lyonnaise des Eaux including International Director and
President of the Asian region. He also worked at GEC Alstom in the Railway and
Power Plant Divisions and was a Member of the Group Executive Committee. He is a
French citizen.
There are no other matters which require to be disclosed pursuant to paragraph
9.6.13 of the UK Listing Rules.
