     ADMISSION OF FURTHER SHARES PURSUANT TO ACCEPTANCES
  
  Hercules announces that, pursuant to acceptances of the
  share-for-share Offer between 3.00pm on 3rd September 1997
  and 3.00pm on 16th September 1997, 21,843 Hercules new
  Ordinary Shares have been allotted.  It is expected that
  these shares will be admitted to trading on AIM at 8.30am
  tomorrow, 19th September 1997.
