Further announcement regarding payment of retained consideration


An announcement was made by Hercules Property Services PLC on 3 July 2000
regarding the payment of retained consideration in respect of the acquisition
of Deacon Insurance Services (Holdings) Limited. 

This announcement is to confirm that applications have been made to the London
Stock Exchange and the UK Listing Authority for the 58,035 new ordinary shares
to be admitted to the Official List and to trading on the London Stock
Exchange.  It is expected that admission to the Official List will become
effective and that dealings in the new ordinary shares will commence tomorrow.
