HCL has been informed by UBS AG London Branch that the TR1 shareholder notification that was sent to the Company on 23 June 2011 (and announced at 8.52 am today with RNS number 0542J) was sent to the Company in error.

UBS AG London Branch has confirmed that UBS Investment Bank owns 6,704,508 ordinary shares in the Company which represents approximately 5.92% of the issued share capital of the Company.
