Transfer of Treasury Shares to EBT

Hardy announces that on 29 June 2012 it transferred to participants in its Hardy Underwriting Employee Benefit Trust ("EBT") 4,000 common shares of 20p each. The shares were all formerly held as Treasury shares.

Following the above transfer of shares out of Treasury, Hardy holds a total of 1,673,766 common shares of 20p each in Treasury. The total number of common shares of 20p each in issue (excluding Treasury shares) is 51,145,671.
