    Healthcare Enterprise Group plc ("Healthcare Enterprise Group" or the "Company")

    Resignation of Nominated Adviser and suspension of trading

    18 August 2008 

    The Company announces that Numis Securities has resigned as the Company's Nominated Adviser and Broker by mutual agreement. Consequently
the shares are suspended until such time as a replacement Nominated Adviser is appointed.

    The Board also wishes to advise shareholders that it is in discussions with a third party investor regarding a further capital raising
for the Company to provide additional development and working capital specifically for the Ebiox range of cleaning and decontamination
products and the Fertiligent slow release insemination device. A further announcement will be made concerning the outcome of the proposed
capital raising and the appointment of a new Nominated Adviser and Broker at the earliest opportunity.

    In the event that an alternative Nominated Adviser is not appointed on or before 7.00 am on 18 September 2008 then, in accordance with
Rule 1 of the AIM Rules for Companies, the admission of the Company's ordinary shares to trading on AIM will be cancelled.
