Board Appointment

The Board of GAME Group plc ("GAME"), Europe's largest specialist retailer of pc and video games products, is pleased to announce the appointment of Martin Davies as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.

Mr Davies (51) has been the Chief Executive of Holidaybreak plc since April 2010, and continues to retain the role of Managing Director of its Education Division, after joining the Board in 2007. Previously, he was CEO of PGL from 2004, leading its MBO in 2005, through to its sale to Holidaybreak plc in 2007. Martin has over 14 years of experience in various marketing and brand management roles with Allied Breweries (presently part of Pernod Ricard) and Kingfisher plc. In addition he spent nine years with Tommy Boy Music, an independent record label he founded in Europe in 1994, six of which he spent in New York as the President of its parent company Tommy Boy Inc. until its successful sale to Time-Warner Inc. in 2003.

Commenting on the appointment, Chris Bell, Chairman of GAME, said:

Martin Davies said:

There are no further details required to be disclosed pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13 in connection with Mr Davies's appointment.
