The Game Group Employees' Share Ownership Plan Trust ("The Trust") 
 
The Company announces today that, on 13 January 2009, the trustees of The 
Trust acquired 750,000 Ordinary Shares of 5p representing 0.22% of the current 
issued share capital and on 14 January 2009, the trustees acquired a further 
50,000 Ordinary Shares representing 0.01% of the current  issued share capital. 
The average price paid for the shares was 142.02p.  The shares acquired will 
contribute towards satisfying any future allocations that may be made under The 
Game Group plc Performance Share Plan and the Game Group plc Deferred Bonus 
Scheme. This transaction was notified to the Company on 15 January 2009. The 
total holding of The Trust following this transaction is 3,129,834 ordinary 
shares being 0.90% of the issued share capital.
