Director's Dealings

The Company was notified today of the following dealings by the Chairman:

On 1 May 2008, Mr. Peter Lewis, Non-Executive Chairman, sold 850,000 ordinary
shares in the Company on the London Stock Exchange at an average price of
269.23 pence per ordinary share.

Mr. Lewis (67) joined the Board as a non-executive director in 1995 and was
appointed non-executive Chairman in 1998. His personal shareholding was bought
in 1995.

Mr Lewis has decided to sell the shares to address estate and tax planning
matters. Following the sale, he continues to hold 66,666 ordinary shares in the
Company.
