Global Energy Development PLC, the Latin America focused petroleum exploration
and production company (LSE-AIM: "GED"), announces the resignation of Mr.
Guillermo Sanchez as an Executive Director of the Company with immediate effect.
Mr. Sanchez will remain a full-time employee and is leaving the Board of
Directors in order to devote his time to contract negotiations and discussions
with prospective partners in relation to the Company's current interests.
