                         GLOBAL ENERGY DEVELOPMENT PLC

                              Exercise of Warrants

Global Energy Development PLC (the "Company") announces that following receipt
of notices to exercise warrants at an exercise price of 60p from four
shareholders of the Company, with the latest notice received on 22 July 2005,
the Company has allotted and issued credited as fully paid 81,108 new ordinary
shares in the Company (the "New Shares").  Application has been made for the New
Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and admission is expected to occur on 8
August 2005.



Following admission, the issued share capital of the Company will be 35,046,155
ordinary shares.



Following today's announcement there are 84,275 warrants outstanding in respect
to the Company's ordinary shares with an expiry date of 8 August 2005 and an
exercise price of 60p, these being held by minority shareholders.
