HOUSTON, March 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Endeavour
International Corporation (NYSE: END) (LSE: ENDV) today announces
the commencement, subject to market conditions, of an underwritten
public offering of 8.0 million shares of its common stock. In
addition, Endeavour intends to grant the underwriters a 30-day
option, solely to cover over-allotments, to purchase up to an
additional 1.2 million shares of its common stock.
Endeavour intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to
retire all $81.3 million of its 6%
Convertible Senior Notes due 2012. Any remaining net proceeds will
be used for general corporate purposes.
