    European Equity Tranche Income Limited (the "Company")

    Retirement of Director


    The Company advises that at the Annual General Meeting held on 31 December 2008 and the subsequent adjournment to 7 January 2009,
Francoise Henry, a non-executive director, who was due to retire and seek re-election, did not seek re-election and has therefore retired as
a Director of the Company with effect from the end of the adjourned meeting, being 7 January 2009. The Board would like to thank Francoise
for her contribution to the Company over the last three years.

    The Company also announces that all resolutions at the Annual General Meeting were duly passed.
