Edge Performance VCT plc (the "Company")

Extension of Closing Date

Tender offer to repurchase C Shares of 10p each in the capital of the Company conditional on the proceeds of sale being applied in full in subscribing for new shares in the Company (the "Enhanced Share Buy-back Offer").

The Directors of the Company announce that, in accordance with the terms of the Enhanced Share Buyback Offer, as set out in the Company's offer document dated 9 July 2012 (the "Offer Document"), they have exercised their discretion to extend the closing date for applications under the Enhanced Share Buyback Offer.

Applications under the Enhanced Share Buyback Offermay now be made until 5.00pm on 19 October 2012.
