Eclipse Blinds plc ("Eclipse") announces that it received notification today
that on 8 December 1998 J. Kenneth Brown, Director, and his wife Mrs. Elspeth
Brown each purchased 5,000 Ordinary Shares in Eclipse at a price of 60p per
share.  Also on that date, the Children's Trust of Mr. J. Edward Black,
Director, and his wife in total purchased 25,000 Ordinary Shares in Eclipse
also at a price of 60p per share.
