NEW ORDERS

Dean Corporation, the fully listed broadly based building and
property services group, is pleased to announce that it has
recently won over #14m worth of new orders all due for completion
within the coming year.  These orders have come from a number of
high prestige clients.

Included among the significant orders are over #5m at Deans'
mechanical, electrical and plumbing subsidiary, H Page
Engineering Services Limited.  Projects involved include air
conditioning systems for the offices of IBM in Brentford and the
BBC at Broadcasting House.  The subsidiary has also been awarded
the mechanical services contract for Lloyds Bank head quarters in
Cornhill, London which covers the refurbishment of the air
conditioning and piped services in the building.

JC Tripp & Son Limited, the group's facilities management
subsidiary specialising in private and public sector projects,
has also won orders amounting to more than #5m. Clients include
the London and Quadrant Housing Trust, the Limehouse Fields
estate in east London and Mount Carmel School for the Westminster
Roman Catholic Diocese Trustees.

In the speciality contracting division, Speymill Tripp Limited
has won over #4m of contracts from Millhouse Inns & Taverns for
new and refurbished public houses in Leeds, Sheffield and other
parts of the country including the conversion of the Steam
railway Pattern Shop at Swindon.  This is a grade 2 listed
conversion of the shop where castings were made for steam engines
for the railways.  Other orders have been won from Pizza Hut,
Grosvenor Inns, Allied Domecq, De Vere Hotels and Everards
Brewery.
