    Clipper makes notification that Douglas Pertz, who was appointed as the new President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company on 24
September 2008, has been granted an option with the effect from that date to acquire 1,000,000 new ordinary shares of 10p each in the
capital of the Company (each a "Share Option" and together the "Share Options") at a price per share equal to the Fair Market Value, as
defined in the Company's 2005 Unapproved Executive Share Option Plan, but in no event for less than �4.40 per share.

266,666 Share Options vest on the second anniversary of the grant date, 366,667 Share Options vest on the third anniversary of the grant
date and 366,667 share options vest on the fourth anniversary of the grant date. The Share Options are exercisable immediately upon vesting
and have a 10 year life from the grant date. The option expires on 24 September 2018. The Share Options are subject to accelerated vesting
in certain circumstances.
