CLIPPER WINDPOWER ANNOUNCES SALES CONTRACT WITH EDISON MISSION GROUP FOR
DELIVERY OF UP TO 150 MW OF WIND TURBINES IN 2008

Clipper Windpower Plc today announced that it will supply up to 60 units, or 150
MW of Clipper's 2.5 MW Liberty wind turbines, via two supply agreements, to
Edison Mission Group, through its subsidiary Edison Mission Energy for delivery
in 2008. These recent contracts are in addition to the 2008 sales commitment set
forth in the 280 MW sales and development agreement announced in July 2006 for
turbine delivery in years 2007-2008, and represent a mix of firm and contingent
orders.  Firm commitments provide for the supply of 19 units, or 47.5 MW,
including a two-year service agreement.   The remaining 41 units, or 102.5 MW,
are contingent subject to the availability of Clipper wind turbines committed to
others via contract options. Based in Irvine, California, Edison Mission Group
manages the competitive power generation business of Edison International, an
electric power generator and distributor with assets totaling more than $36
billion.
