                     Appointment of non-executive director


Centurion Electronics plc ("Centurion" or the "Company"), is pleased to announce
the appointment of Malcolm Diamond MBE to the board of the Company with
immediate effect.

Malcolm has over ten years public company experience and was until recently the
Chief Executive of Trifast plc, the industrial fastenings distributor. He was
appointed Managing Director of Trifast in 1984 where he presided over a period
of growth in which turnover increased from #5 million to #120 million.

Malcolm is 55 years old and in the last five years he has been non-executive
director of Nobo plc, Synter Group plc and Reliance Integrated Services Ltd.
He is currently a non-executive director at Dechra Pharmaceuticals Plc, CWO Ltd,
JPA Building Services Consultants Ltd, and Armida Ltd.

There is no other information requiring to be disclosed under Schedule 2,
paragraph (f) of the AIM Rules.

Commenting on his appointment, Brian Hendon, Chairman of Centurion said: "I am
