The Board of Centurion Electronics plc was notified yesterday by Hermes
Administration Services Limited pursuant to sections 198 to 210 of the Companies
Act 1985 (as amended), that BriTel Fund Trustees Limited, The Trustees of BT
Pension Scheme has acquired an interest in a total of 1,196,592 ordinary shares
which, following the issue of new shares announced on 5 March 2004, represents
4.94 per cent. of the Company's enlarged issued share capital. The shares are
registered in the name of BriTel Fund Nominees Ltd.
