                               Holding in Company


The Board of Centurion Electronics plc was notified yesterday by Hermes
Administration Services Limited ("Hermes") pursuant to sections 198 to 210 of
the Companies Act 1985 (as amended), that the Britel Fund Trustees Limited which
is controlled by The Trustees of the BT Pension Scheme has an interest in a
total of 916,071 ordinary shares which represents 3.69 per cent. of the
Company's issued share capital. The shares are registered in the name of BriTel
Fund Nominees Ltd.



Hermes also notified the Company today that the Royal Mail Pensions Trustees
Limited has an interest in a total of 622,579 ordinary shares which represents
2.51 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital. The shares are registered
in the name of PossFund Nominees Ltd.
