Chesterton International plc regrets to announce the death of its non-
executive chairman, Mr Richard Andrew.  The company's senior non-executive
director, Mr Alan Davis, succeeds Mr Andrew as chairman.

Mr Andrew will be missed by his colleagues at Chesterton and we extend our
deepest sympathies to his family.
