2004 LONG TERM INCENTIVE PLAN ("the Plan")

Further to the announcement made on 3 January 2008 regarding the Carpetright plc
2004 Long Term Incentive Plan, Carpetright plc announces that the shares the
subject of the awards referred to in that announcement were on 7 February 2008
transferred to the Directors and PDMRs named in, and in the amounts set out in,
