                      Clipper Ventures plc (the "Company")


The Company has today requested that 192,308 ordinary shares be cancelled from
trading.

The ordinary shares were cancelled from the register in June 2006, as a result
of an error in allotment, but due to an administrative error have not yet been
cancelled from trading on AIM.

As a result of this, the issued share capital of the Company has not changed and
remains at 30,859,609 ordinary shares of one penny each.
