"Clipper Ventures announces the departure of Jeff Berry, Company Secretary &
Finance Director, with immediate effect. Jeff has been in these roles with
Clipper since February 2006 on a part-time basis.


A planned restructure of the executive management of the business makes it
inappropriate to make a permanent appointment at this time. Therefore, Jeremy
Knight, the previous Finance Director, has assumed the role on a temporary
basis.


In making the announcement, CEO William Ward said, "I am very grateful to Jeff
for the work he has done over his 10 months with the company. It has become
clear that the growth of the business and the extended absence of the Chairman,
Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, in the Velux 5 Oceans Race require more full time
executive support in Clipper.  Accordingly I will be appointing a Chief
Operating Officer to take over the finance director role as well as some of the
day to day management of the business. I am delighted Jeremy Knight has
temporarily rejoined us as he is very familiar with how we operate.  Jeff will
make himself available to Jeremy during the first quarter of 2007 to ensure a
smooth transition."


Jeff said, " Working with Clipper has provided me with valuable insight into the
sports marketing business.  The business will benefit from more full time
executive input and I sincerely wish Clipper Ventures well as it moves towards
the next Clipper Race."
