                      Clipper Ventures Plc (the "Company")



The Company has today made application for 1,562,500 new ordinary shares ("New
Ordinary Shares") to be admitted to trading on AIM.



The New Ordinary Shares, which will represent 5.3 per cent. of the enlarged
share capital in the Company post admission, have been issued pursuant to the
conversion of a convertible loan note.



It is expected that trading in the New Ordinary Shares will commence of 14 March
2006. Following admission the enlarged share capital of the Company will be
29,297,700 ordinary shares of 1p each.
