Clipper Ventures Plc announces that Jeremy Knight has resigned as Finance
Director and Company Secretary to the Company to be replaced by Jeff William
Berry with immediate effect. Jeff was a corporate finance partner with
accountants Baker Tilly until February 2003, having joined the partnership from
KPMG. In the last 3 years, Jeff has been acting independently as a consultant
on projects ranging from passenger rail franchising, financial management at a
private equity backed Software Company and the managing of a football League
club.
Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, Chairman, commented:
"The board would like to thank Jeremy for the contribution he has made to the
Company in the last 4 years both as finance director and in other aspects of
the business, and wishes him well with his future ventures. The board welcomes
Jeff who will bring a wealth of experience, with his understanding of both
corporate finance and sports related businesses."
Jeffrey William Berry, aged 49, is currently a Director of Trelawney Court
Management Ltd and formerly held a directorship at Long Ashton and Leighwoods
Enviromental Ltd. No further information is required to be disclosed under
paragraph g of schedule two of the AIM rules.
