AGM Statement

At today's AGM Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, Chairman of Clipper Ventures Plc,
("Clipper") the ocean racing events management company made the following
statement:

"On 28th November we announced a move into long term profitability with the
announcement of interim results. These figures represent a sustainable base
upon which future growth can be delivered. Clipper has contracted revenues of
over �12 million which will become recognised between now and 2008, although
this figure is expected to be augmented through new sponsorship deals currently
in negotiation.

"The current Clipper Round the World Yacht Race started the fourth of its seven
legs last week from Singapore to Quingdao, with all ten of our new 68 foot
racing yachts performing strongly. The reception laid on by each of the
sponsoring ports has been outstanding and is demonstrative of the high standing
this race achieves in the world sporting calendar.

"A focus now for Clipper is the 2006 Velux 5 Oceans Race in October. Clipper
provides the race management of this event and through strategic partners, such
as Globalsportnet, race sponsorship and marketing. I am pleased to report
considerable progress made in terms of the number and quality of entries and
the sponsorship revenues being negotiated.

"We look forward to another year of strong newsflow and results which will
include new and renewed sponsorships and possible new sporting events for
Clipper."

and non-stop circumnavigation. Now, as Chairman of Clipper Ventures PLC, he is
at the forefront of promoting round the world yacht racing. Clipper Ventures,
the marine sports company founded in 1995 and listed on AIM in 1999, is
focussed on developing and promoting major events capable of attracting
significant participation, income, media coverage and associated sponsorship
revenue. The company owns the rights to the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race,
