Disposal of racing yacht at premium to balance sheet valuation

Clipper Ventures Plc (`Clipper' or the `Company'), the AIM quoted ocean racing
company known for the Clipper Round The World Yacht Race and the 5-Oceans Solo
Grand Prix, announces the sale of one of its 60ft racing yachts to the
corporation of Glasgow for �145,000, marking the commencement of the Company's
plan to dispose of its old fleet of eight. The old fleet is shown in the
Company balance sheet at a conservative valuation of �800,000.

William Ward, Chief Executive, Commented:

"With our new fleet of ten68ft yachts now well into the 2006 Clipper Round The
World race, we feel that our old fleet has served its useful purpose and isin
excellent shape for resale."
