Director's share purchase

Clipper Ventures Plc (the `Company') has been informed that Sir Robin
Knox-Johnston yesterday purchased 50,000 shares at a cost of 17.5p per
share.  Sir Robin Knox-Johnston now owns 2,476,608 shares, representing 9.8 per
cent. of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company.
