CLUBPARTNERS INTERNATIONAL PLC (THE "COMPANY") ACQUIRES THREE
GOLF CLUBS AND CHANGES NAME TO GOLF CLUB HOLDINGS PLC


The Company announces that at its Annual General Meeting held
today, shareholders approved the acquisition of the South
Winchester, Batchworth Park and The Vale golf clubs.

All the conditions for completion of the acquisition have now
been satisfied and the acquisition has been completed today.

Approval has also been given to the proposed change of name of
the Company to Golf Club Holdings Plc, which is expected to
become effective tomorrow.

The ordinary shares are expected to be re-admitted to trading on
the Alternative Investment Market on 16 April 1998, under the
new name.
