                          PERIOD-END TRADING STATEMENT

Chelford Group plc ("Chelford" or "the Group"), the IT solutions group, today
provides an update on its trading performance for the six months to 30 June
2007.

Chelford is pleased to report that the overall operating profit for the first
half of 2007 is significantly ahead of the same period in 2006 and also shows an
improvement on the second half of 2006.

The Chelford SAP Solutions division has moved firmly into profit with improving
margins as the half year progressed. Chelford SAP Solutions continues to achieve
good organic growth and the new business pipeline is substantially stronger than
at the same time last year.

Revenue for the Chelford Solutions division was little changed from the same
period last year. Profitability in this division was held back during the half
year by increased investment within the Microsoft solutions business and in
additional sales capacity. However an increase of 43% in order intake for
Chelford Solutions gives confidence for an improvement in performance during the
second half.

Chelford continues to generate cash; the net cash balance as at 30 June 2007 was
#1.76 million.

The Board anticipates a satisfactory outcome for the full year in line with the
Board's expectations.
